2BR Cottage Near Bendigo Hospital - Walk to CBD

Positive: Beautiful little cottage Very clean Well supplied with everything we needed. Fantastic location Easy check-in Negative: The only negative was the beds. The main queen size was a little lumpy . The single beds,while comfortable, one had the slats moving and falling out and once fixed squeaked every time I moved overnight.

Positive: Great location Negative: Mattresses need updating

Close to the park but you pay the price of no sleep. Positive: The cottage was very clean. The hosts were attentive and generous. The front garden and porch looked inviting. Ample parking. Negative: I feel like we were staying in a different property to the one rated as ‘luxury’ in the reviews. The cottage is situated on an arterial road and the traffic noise is LOUD, even with external windows and doors closed. It was a challenge to sleep at night, impossible to sit on the verandah during the day and uncomfortable being in the lounge room. A previous occupant must have messed with the electrical appliances: the microwave wouldn’t work, the TV and split system remotes barely operated and throughout the night the split system would randomly turn on. We couldn’t fit our luggage in the main bedroom and essentially based our belongings on the floor in the kitchen/dining room. We felt uncomfortable the whole time with the poor lighting and dark furnishings.

Cosy, comfortable and fully equipped in a great location central to explore Bendigo. Highly recommend! Positive: Location, cosy and warm, had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Everything was top quality, from the linen & towels, to everything in the kitchen. Loved having electric blankets on the beds to keep us warm. Highly recommended, would stay again next time we visit Bendigo. Negative: Nothing!

Positive: Absolutely excellent place, definitely returning, clean, everything you need is in cottage, very well equipped quiet, private, perfect location, walking distance to everything, thankyou mark and Kate we love your place
